Relive the era of the French and British colonies in Québec City and discover all the attacks the city endured—from William Phips’s attempt to take Quebec in 1690, to the siege of 1759–1760 and the American invasion of 1775.

Visit period camps, meet 200 reenactors to learn more about the history of the sieges of Quebec, watch firing demonstrations and step inside a Martello Tower. 

Discover the alliances made with First Nations and the realities these Indigenous peoples faced during times of war. Chat with history experts and historical characters. A true dive into history!

Activities are ongoing on Saturday (11 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.) and on Sunday (11 a.m. to 4 p.m.).

  • The activity is accessible to individuals with reduced mobility (except for access to Martello Tower 1). However, you can take a virtual tour of the Martello Tower 1.
  • Loud noises from rifle and cannon fire: earplugs or earmuffs are recommended for those with sound sensitivity.
