Become a recruit in the British Army, under the command of a Royal Artillery captain.
Through various team competitions, you’ll learn how to load a musket, make cartridges and load a cannon. You’ll also see how the soldiers stationed in the Martello Towers lived, handle objects from the time and experience the discipline required in the British Army.

Accessibility
- Reduced mobility: The Martello Towers are not accessible to people with reduced mobility, due to the stairs with many steps.
- Visual impairment: The activity takes place in low light conditions.
- The activity can be adapted for groups of people with diverse learning needs or disabilities.

- In May and June, the activity is performed in a 1h30 version.
- Ratio: 30 students/guide.
- Please note that Martello Tower 1 does not have any sanitary facilities.
- A dining room is available upon request at the Plains of Abraham Museum.

Price: $6.00/student.
A minimum rate applies.

Free admission for six accompanying adults.
