A captivating visit highlighting a pivotal moment in the history of Québec City and Canada. In addition, admission is free for visitors aged 17 and under, and 50% off for visitors aged 18–24 as part of the Canada Strong Pass.

Skating at the Plains Skating Rink

Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced skater, skating is always a winning choice during the holidays!
Equipment rentals, including ice skates, skating aids and helmets, are available on site at the skaters’ chalet.
Snow sliding: for some family fun
Laughter and fun await on the Plains’ sliding hills. A must-do activity for children… and for adults who are young at heart!
Snow tube rentals are available at the Plains of Abraham Museum for just $5.00, allowing you to fully enjoy the activity safely.
Cross-country skiing in the heart of the city
The Plains’ five cross-country ski trails offer a spectacular setting for staying active right in the city. Spanning a total of 14 kilometres, this urban park is suitable for both classic and skate skiing, and for all skill levels.
It’s the perfect opportunity to combine physical activity and fresh air — free of charge, just steps from downtown.
Classic cross-country ski rentals are available at the skaters’ chalet, located near the ice ring.
