The Edwin-Bélanger Bandstand is launching a new lineup of shows for 2026, on a new weekly schedule
Quebec City, Thursday, April 16, 2026 – The National Battlefields Commission (NBC) has launched its 2026 program for the Edwin-Bélanger Bandstand (EBB)—a series of free shows running from June 19 to August 14 on a new weekly schedule. The iconic outdoor stage will host fifteen musical performances and family activities against a natural, historical, and enchanting backdrop.
The Lost Fingers, Webster, PetiTom, and a wave of local artists will set the tone for a summer of free events for all tastes on the Plains of Abraham
This year, the Edwin-Bélanger Bandstand will enliven this popular venue on the Plains with Wednesday and Friday night shows at 7 p.m. and some Saturday morning shows (except for the period of the Festival d’été de Québec). The new schedule will have a better distribution of shows at fixed times during the week to ensure greater accessibility and optimal attendance throughout the summer season.
Valérie Gignac, Chief Communications Coordinator:
By concentrating our shows on Wednesdays and Fridays, we hope to fit our lineup more easily into the daily lives of people, while creating a better synergy with the diverse range of cultural activities in Quebec City, which are already plentiful on summer weekends. This change of schedule will get things going mid-week and then kick off the weekend in a festive ambiance with a totally free, local, and inclusive program.
A diverse program for all tastes
This year again, the Edwin-Bélanger Bandstand is offering a free program that will showcase local musical diversity from folk to hip-hop with contributions from pop, soul, blues, and gypsy jazz. The 2026 edition will also make room for emerging artists and voices from different communities, including Indigenous performers.

Among the artists rocking the Edwin-Bélanger Bandstand this summer, spectators will get a chance to see The Lost Fingers, Webster, and PetiTom—established figures on the Quebec scene—while discovering or rediscovering a wave of upcoming artists. The diverse lineup notably includes Christopher Hall, Eadsé, Mélissa Ouimet, Raph Delaé, Albert Asselin, and the Ben Racine Band, all of whom will make the Edwin-Bélanger Bandstand a must-see for cultural outings in Quebec City. The Plains of Abraham Museum will present Natura & Historia—a talk about the history of the site in all its wonders. An exhibition under the same name will open in June. Also worth mentioning is the band of the Royal 22e Régiment, which will put on a warm and grandiose musical evening in the midst of this vast urban park.

Family shows not to be missed
In keeping with the aim of inclusivity, the Plains of Abraham and the Edwin-Bélanger Bandstand will also offer performances for the entire family. Two morning shows on July 25 and August 8, starting at 11 a.m., will provide young and old alike with a fun-filled, congenial experience.
On July 25, Alexandra Côté and her dogs will enthrall their audience with a high-energy show that combines canine talents with tight-paced routines. This beautiful teamwork between dog and human has already conquered stages and television studios across North America.
On August 8, families will get to meet Atchoum. This character is well-known to kids and will deliver
a festive, interactive performance filled with mirth and laughter.
