Built in 1931
Gilmour Hill is a 1.1 km road that crosses the Plains of Abraham, connecting Champlain Boulevard to Old Quebec.
Initially developed in 1931, the hill underwent major work in 2014-2015 to allow for winter access. This project also provided an opportunity to incorporate a multifunctional trail along the cliff, offering a safe route for pedestrians and cyclists. The trail highlights the beauty and history of the area with rest areas and interpretive panels.
