Relive the 1759 siege of Québec alongside Generals Wolfe and Montcalm and discover the military strategies that led to the famous Battle of the Plains of Abraham.
Through demonstrations, challenges and interactive scenarios, students explore the realities faced by soldiers at the time. They learn about line battle tactics, take part in a musket-loading competition, test their knowledge with a history quiz and watch a demonstration of 18th-century military surgery.
Offered on the Plains of Abraham or in the classroom, this interactive activity helps students better understand the events of the 1759 battle, the strategies of the French and British armies, and the conditions experienced by soldiers.
