About the artist
Patrick Lavallée
At a time when hard work didn't leave much room for artistic expression, folk art was born out of a desire to give meaning to daily routine. A few years ago, Patrick Lavallée decided to change his life, moving to the Bas-du-Fleuve to devote himself to his passion for sculpture. Also known as “le Gosseux”, Lavallée creates works inspired by tales and legends, blending naiveté and refinement.
