Since 1908, the National Battlefields Commission (NBC), an agency of the federal government, has had a mandate to conserve and promote the Battlefields Park. This rallying site par excellence in Québec City includes the Plains of Abraham and Des Braves Park.
As guardians of this historic urban park and its unique heritage, NBC employees work to make it a welcoming, inspiring, and inclusive space. Many activities (exhibits, special events, commemorative events) are offered to an incredibly diverse clientele from all walks of life.
Primary Activities
Welcome parking lot customers at the National Battlefields Commission lots
Inform customers of parking rates, explain how to use the parking metres, and direct customers towards different NBC sites and activities
Collect money from sales of parking permits and prepare cash deposits during certain events
Manage the number of cars in the parking lot and ensure the environment is clean and safe
Direct tourists towards NBC information points
Ensure parking operations run smoothly during large events and activities

Employment Conditions
One position of about 32 to 40 hours per week, variable days, evenings, and weekends depending on activities and events
Salary: $19.52 per hour
